Breezy Ridge Rugs is located in Raywick, Kentucky.  We have been in business since 1990.  We started out offering our natural fibers fibers for sale and slowly changed our focus to punch needle rug hooking.  We specialize in everything punch needle rug hooking but do offer our designs and kits to traditional rug hookers.

    ” I have been on a creative journey all my life.  I have been fortunate enough to have had talented women teach me the love of textiles and the skills to produce them.  These women not only taught me “how to” create things but gave me the greatest gift, CREATIVE THINKING ENCOURAGEMENT.   Through the years I have continued on my journey, learning “how to”, all the while searching for the perfect outlet for all my skills and energy. After a while, I knew in my heart I had “found my calling”.   This traditional craft of punch needle rug hooking, offered me an outlet to use a combination of all my skills.  I am very grateful to be able to work everyday doing what I love.”

Angela Jones and her husband own and operate an exotic animal farm in the beautiful Bluegrass Region of central Kentucky.  She is a farmer, craft person, fiber artist, spinner, and rug hooker.  She began hooking rugs in the early 1990’s and specializing in Punch Needle rug hooking since 1996.   In 1997 she went to Vermont and Studied with Amy Oxford and received her certification as an Oxford punch needle rug hooking instructor.   Some of her rugs are featured in the book "Punch Needle Rug Hooking Techniques and Designs" by Amy Oxford.  She is a juried Kentucky Crafted fiber artist.  She founded Breezy Ridge Rugs, a mail order business that she owns and operates presently.  Her business offers her original designed patterns as well as punch needle rug hooking supplies.
