Product Overview

Oxford Punch Needle, a rug hooking tool. The hook is designed for comfort and speed.  You have one hole to thread.  The hook has a wooden handle with electropolished stainless steel needle.  It was designed by Punch Needle expert Amy Oxford.  You can make quality hooked tugs with the punch needle method of rug hooking.  Included is a 28 page booklet of instructions , a stitch gauge and a nice box to store your tool in. 

Size 10 Regular creates 1/4 inch high loops

Wool strips sizes 6, 7, and 8 work well

    handspun yarn now punched

    I hook with my handspun yarns from my own sheep and had bought the larger size a while back but needed a finer one for smaller yarns for more detail. While there is a learning curve, these punches are easy to master....if you hold your tongue right!
